Pilot Club of Madison held its monthly meeting and special celebration dinner on June 12 at the Historic Broadway Hotel and Tavern. Theresa Huffman and Maxine Schneider were recognized and welcomed as official members of the club. Both have been active participants in recent club efforts. Outgoing president Jennifer Schafer addressed the members, thanking them for their dedication and commitment during the 2013 service year. The installation of new officers was conducted by Grace Humes, secretary for Pilot International's Michigan/Indiana District. Officers for 2014 are: president Angela Russell, vice-president Elsie Perry-Payne, president-elect Grace Humes, treasurer Candice Fulk and secretary Angie Lobb. Russell shared goals for 2014, aligning each with the purpose and vision of Pilot International. Perry-Payne closed the ceremony with a review of The Pilot Club's Code of Ethics. Those interested are also welcome to attend one of the club's meetings, which are held on the second Thursday of each month, at 6:30 p.m. in the Madison Senior Center, 208 W. Main St.
