The Deputy Alumni Association will hold its annual banquet and dance Saturday at Deputy Elementary School. The class reunion is for all former graduates and teachers of Deputy High School, but classes that graduated in a year ending in a 3 or 8 will be honored. This year marks 45 years since the final class graduated from the school in 1968.

Fourteen Madison Consolidated High School seniors who now live in or attended Deputy will be inducted into the alumni association.

The theme of the event is "country picnic." The Deputy Volunteer Fire Department will provide the meal at 6 p.m. followed by the dance at 9 p.m. with D.J. Charlie Daugherty.

The dinner and meeting are for alumni members and their guests only. Tickets are $18 per person and include admission to the dance. The dance is open to the public with tickets set at $5 per person. For reservations or more information call (812) 866-5992.
