The Southeast ISBDC is seeking entries for the second annual Risk-It Competition. The contest is intended to encourage and award innovative ideas in the small business sector. Entrepreneurs with ideas for a new business, invention, or process can submit their ideas to www.riskitindiana.com.
Six to eight finalists will be selected from entries received prior to July 15, 2013. Finalists will be chosen by members of the Southeast ISBDC. All entries will be eligible for no-cost counseling. Finalists will be contacted by email within a week of entry.
Finalists will present their ideas to guests and a panel of judges on Aug. 28 at the Venture Out Business Center.
Each of the finalists will have five minutes to present their pitch to the audience and judges. Both the audience and panel of judges will vote on which idea they believe is the best and most marketable.
