Ivy Tech Community College held an employee appreciation luncheon Dec. 10, 2012 at the Madison Campus. The event included recognition of nine faculty and staff members whose combined tenure totaled 140 years.

Student affairs assistant Elaine Vollmer was honored for 35 years of service at the Madison campus and Margaret Seifert Russell, director of academic support services, was recognized for 30 years with the college. Faculty member Rich Geglein received a 25-year service award.

Other employees recognized for their service included: health sciences secretary Melissa Patrick, 15 years; faculty member Beth McIlvain and corporate college executive director Randy Johann, both honored for 10 years of service; and faculty member Debbie Judge, regional librarian Tim Renners, and Roger Chandler, maintenance, for each recognized for five years of service.

Eight part-time faculty and staff were recognized for a total of 110 years with Ivy Tech, including adjunct faculty member Traci Geglein, who has been teaching part-time with the college for 25 years.

Ivy Tech Community College Southeast serves Dearborn, Ripley, Ohio, Switzerland and Jefferson counties in Indiana, and bordering areas in northern Kentucky and Cincinnati, Ohio.
