A Garden Affair: The Lanier Mansion State Historic Site will host the annual "A Garden Affair" event featuring "The Hoosier Gardener" Jo Ellen Meyers Sharp on container gardening. A gardening vendors display will be open from 11 a.m. to noon followed by lunch at noon and the presentation at 1 p.m. Tickets, which include lunch, are $25 per person. Monday Matinee Classics: Will feature Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell in "His Girl Friday" at 1:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Court Street Cinemas: Will show "Twilight" at 2 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. Popcorn and soft drinks will be available.

Movies at the Library: The Trimble County Public Library will screen a movie on the library's big screen at 2 p.m. with free popcorn and drinks. Movies are rated G or PG.

Big Oaks Conservation Society: Will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison Branch.

Bicentennial and Society Happenings: The Switzerland County Historical Society will hold the first meeting of the year at 7 p.m. at the Switzerland County Public Library.

April 2

IKE Retirees: Retired employees of the Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corporation will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. at the Falls Restaurant at Clifty Falls State Park. All retirees and guests are welcome.

Assistive Technologies-Vision: Southeastern Indiana Independent Living Center will present information on a new, no cost program to assist individuals with severe visual impairments through assistive technology devices to help maintain independence through the performance of everyday tasks.
