TASC Testing: The high school equivalency test will be given at Madison Consolidated High School in the evening Aug. 11 and Aug. 13, and Aug. 25 and Aug. 27. For more information or to register call (812) 265-6672.
KYNECT: Get assistance with Kentucky health care sign-up from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. No appointment necessary.
Jefferson County Republican Women - LOCATION CHANGE: Will meet at 6 p.m. at Harry's Stone Grill. Lisa Seng-Shadday, candidate for 66th District State Representative, will be present and the upcoming ice cream social will be discussed. Those attending are asked to bring an auction item with them. All Republican women are welcome. The location was changed from Franco's Restaurant.
Carrollton City Council: Will meet on the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in council chambers at Carrollton City Hall.
Jefferson County Clearinghouse Project Meeting: Will meet at 8 a.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at 100 E. Second St. All are welcome.
Carroll County Fiscal Court: Will meet at 9 a.m. on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month in the Fiscal Court on the second floor of the Carroll County Courthouse.
NARFE: Chapter 1677 of the National Association of Active and Retired Federal Employees will meet at noon at Ponderosa Steak House. A motion, discussion and vote will be taken to close the chapter or remain active. All members are urged to attend. All federal retirees, active federal employees, postal employees and their guests are welcome.
Dungeons and Dragons in the Library: This group is for adults who enjoy the game at 6 p.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison branch. Bring supplies and meet in the library conference room. This is a new group and everyone is welcome. For more information call (812) 265-2744.
NAMI Family Support Group: Will meet from 6:45 to 8:15 p.m. on the second Tuesday of the month at Faith Lutheran Church to support family members of those who have been diagnosed with a mental illness. Stroke and Cardiovascular Screenings: St. Elizabeth's mobile health unit will be at the Carroll County Public Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. to offer four health screenings for $25 each. Registration is required. Call (859) 301-9355 to schedule an appointment.
CAFFE: Carrollton Area Families for Education will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesdays at the Carroll County Public Library.

MCHS Class of 1969 Reunion Planning Meeting: Will be held at 6 p.m. at Harry's Stone Grill. The reunion has been set for Oct. 11. Carroll County Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet: Will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour and silent auction at the General Butler State Resort Park's conference center. Tree Spree: Meet at 2 p.m. at the Clifty Falls State Park Nature Center to learn about trees that have been in Indiana for hundreds of years. Make a tree identification sheet to take home in this 30-minute program.

Tower Trek: Get a bird's-eye-view of the Ohio Valley with at 11 a.m. with a one-hour moderate hike at Clifty Falls State Park. Meet at the Nature Center.
Magic Tournament: Will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
Critter Feeding and Turtle Walk: Visit the Clifty Falls State Park Nature Center at 2 p.m. to learn what's on the menu for local critters and help give the center's turtles some sunshine.
Fish Fry: Canaan Volunteer Fire Department will host a fish fry from 5 to 8 p.m. The menu will include fish, hot dogs, slaw, fries, hush puppies, dessert and a drink. A free will offering will be collected.
