Swiss Wine Festival: The 42nd annual event will be held at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park in Vevay Aug. 22-Aug. 25 with wine tasting, a grape stomp, arts and crafts, amusement rides, a parade, riverboat cruises, 5K walk/run, cheerleading competition, live entertainment and more.
Summer Festival: Prince of Peace Catholic Schools will host their annual summer festival Aug. 23-24 from 5 p.m. to midnight on the Shawe and Pope John campus with free parking and admission. The event includes food, games, midway rides, raffles, music and more. Friday will feature a karaoke night from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. and Saturday will include live music from The Rumors from 9 p.m. to midnight.
Al-Anon Family Group: Will meet at 7 p.m. Fridays at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway. For more information call (812) 493-3848.
Orchard Support Group: A support group for pregnant mothers, new mothers and mothers of older children who are battling addiction will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays at the King's Daughters' Hospital.
Senior Citizens: The Madison Senior Center, 208 W. Main St., hosts activities during the week including euchre at noon on Monday and Thursday, and bingo at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. The center also has a pool table, Wii, and dominoes. Lunch is available each day, but those interested must sign-up the day prior. For more information call (812) 265-4758.
Court Street Cinemas: Will screen "The Big Wedding" at 6 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. The film is rated R.
Breakfast Networking: Madison Chamber and Economic Development will host breakfast networking at 8 a.m. at 301 E. Main St.
Chess Club: Will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison Branch on the third Tuesday of the month.
Alzheimer's Support Group: Will meet at 7 p.m. at Hanover Health and Rehabilitation Center in the continuing education area in Wing 1. The free meeting offers an educational program and light refreshments. For more information call (812) 866-2625.
Lego Mania: Will be held at 3:30 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
Moving for Better Health: The free senior exercise class will meet from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursdays at the Lide White Boys and Girls Club/Family and Community Center. For more information call (812) 273-1072.
AARP Driver's Safety Class: The Carroll County Public Library will host a 4-hour class designed to be a refresher in the basics of road safety for those 55 and over from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. A light lunch will be provided. Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of the Canyon River Band. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.

Alley Art Fair: Will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in conjunction with the Fourth Friday Art Jam. The fair is a free outdoor event feature original artwork and crafts by area artists. For more information or to participate email email@example.com.
Madison Future Young Professionals: Will host a networking kick off event from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Gallery 115, 115 E. Main St. for individuals age 18 to 42.
Poetry Nights: Will begin at 7 p.m. at Village Lights Bookstore. All are welcome to read their own work or that of a favorite poet. The emcee is Madison poet Jill Kelly Koren.
C.R.A.N.E.: Conserving Resources through Agricultural and Natural Exploration will host a first exploration canoe/kayak tour of the Kentucky River from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Carrollton, Ky. Pet Portraits Part II: Bring a photograph of your pet to the Carroll County Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon to create a work of art in paint and collage with Jill Mahoney. Materials will be provided, but a donation of cat or dog food, or cat litter for the Carroll County Animal Support Group is requested. For more information call (502) 732-7020.

Columbus Philharmonic Brass Ensemble: Will perform pop, classical and various genres of jazz music in an outdoor concert from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Lanier Mansion. Admission is $5 per adult, $2 per child. Proceeds from the concert will go towards funding historic site programming and building improvements.
