Hop for Socks: Southeastern Indiana Voices for Children will be collecting new socks for area children for Christmas. New socks can be donated through Dec. 13 at Voices for Children, 217 E. Main St.

Angel Tree: The Salvation Army's Angel Trees are available at Walmart, Walgreens, American Rental, The Moose Lodge and The Salvation Army in Madison. To adopt a family this Christmas, choose an Angel off a tree or call the Salvation Army at (812) 265-2157.

Great Cookie Caper: The Madison Visitor Center will host the Great Cookie Caper Nov. 29-30 and Dec. 6-7, Fridays from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 2 to 8 p.m.

Nights Before Christmas Candlelight Tour of Homes: The annual tour of homes and public sites will be held Nov. 29-30 and Dec. 6-7 with tours Fridays from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturdays from 3 to 9 p.m. Advance adult tickets are $12.50 through Nov. 15, $15 after. Host of Angels and Annual Festival of Trees: Lanthier Winery will host their annual displays Nov. 29-Dec. 24 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

Santa's Cottage: Will be open Nov. 29, Dec. 6, Dec. 8, Dec. 13, Dec. 20 and Dec. 21 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Broadway Fountain. Santa will also be available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 7 and from noon to 2 p.m. Dec. 22.

Festival of Lights: Thousands of holiday lights reflect into the water along the Ohio River at Paul Ogle Riverfront Park in Vevay from Nov. 30 to Dec. 31.

Orchard Support Group: A support group for pregnant mothers, new mothers and mothers of older children who are battling addiction will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays at the King's Daughters' Hospital.

Support Group: Will meet every Thursday at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1429 Clifty Drive, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The spiritually-based group supports those struggling with depression, fear, anxiety, suicidal thoughts and grief. For more information call (502) 468-6316.

Senior Citizens: The Madison Senior Center, 208 W. Main St., hosts activities during the week including euchre at noon on Monday and Thursday, and bingo at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. Jefferson County House of Hope: Will provide free food and supplies to residents of Jefferson County who are in need. A household may visit once every 30 days. Guests will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays. The clearinghouse is located at 100 E. Second St. The entrance is located off First St., at the rear of the building.

Zumba: Will meet at 5:15 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Carroll County Public Library.

FAFSA Night: Madison Consolidated High School will host an informational session on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The session if open to all area seniors and their guardians starting at 6 p.m. in the MCHS cafeteria.

Big Oaks Conservation Society: Will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison Branch.

IKE Retirees: Retired employees of the Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corporation will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. at Bob Evans. The change of schedule is due to the deer kill at Clifty Falls State Park. All retirees and guests are welcome.

B4K Club: Will meet at 11 a.m. at the General Butler State Resort Park Lodge to decorate the library tree for the Festival of Trees.

Jefferson County Retired Teachers Association: Will meet at The Pines Restaurant. Members and their guests are invited to a social time starting at 11:30 a.m. The meal will follow at noon.

Southwestern Food Pantry: Will be open from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. the first Thursday of the month. The pantry is open to families of Southwestern Middle and High School students and offers food and daily living supplies. Christmas Craft Show: Will be held at the Brown Gym. Proceeds will benefit Madison Senior Citizens Center programming.
