The World Comes to Madison: The Seifert-Short Museum and Learning Center, 113 E. Third St., will display nativities and crèches from around the world during the holiday season. The museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in December and January. Free admission.
Walk Away the Pounds: Daily at 9 a.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
Yoga Class: Will meet Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:45 a.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
Senior Nutritional Meals: LifeTime Resources offers meals for seniors Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Jefferson County Senior Citizens Center, 208 W. Main St. Meals are not served on holidays.
Depression Support Group: A spiritually-based depression support group will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1429 Clifty Drive. The program is facilitated by Jackie Osinski. The class is split into times for teaching, open discussion and prayer. For more information call (502) 468-6316.
Bridge Group: The Tuesday Duplicate Bridge Group meets every Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the great hall at Christ Episcopal Church. New bridge players are always welcome. For more information call (812) 866-3767 or (812) 265-4433.
Narcotics Anonymous: Will hold open meetings Sunday, Monday and Friday from 7 to 8 p.m. at 506 Mulberry St. For more information call (812) 265-9834.
Al-Anon: Will meet at 7 p.m. each Friday at Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway. For more information call (812) 599-4630.
Make and Take Crafts: Will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison branch from 6 to 7 p.m. Crafts will include glitter "Thank You" cards and painting suncatchers. The event is free for all ages. No registration is needed. For more information call (812) 265-2744.
Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of the Canyon River Band. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3 and includes snacks, drinks and door prizes.
Sip N' Knit: Will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays at Harriette's Knit Knook, 103 E. Main St. All types of stitchery are welcome.
"French Kisses" Auditions: The Madison Community Players will hold auditions for the comedy "French Kisses" from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Chamber of Commerce, 301 E. Main St. For more information call (812) 793-3357.
Court Street Cinemas - Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Will be shown at 2 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. The film is rated PG.
Senior Dance: Will host Sidekicks with Silas, also known as the Canyon River Band, from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. at the Lide White Boys and Girls Club. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. The New Years Eve party will include furnished party favors and pitch-in food and snacks. The event does not include alcohol or smoking. Admission is $15.
