Hagar's Children: Hanover College Theatre will present "Hagar's Children," a different kind of Christmas play with music, about unconditional love. Performances are Dec. 6-8 in Park Auditorium with curtain time at 7:30 p.m. each night with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. Tickers are $12 for adults, $10 for seniors 65 and older, and $5 for youth. The 1940s Radio Hour: The Madison Community Players will present a nostalgic look back to the days of live radio shows in the dinner theater production Dec. 7-8. Dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. and the show will start around 7:15 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person and are available at the Elks Lodge and Nice Shots! Photography. Advance tickets are required.
The World Comes to Madison: The Seifert-Short Museum and Learning Center, 113 E. Third St., will display nativities and crèches from around the world during the holiday season. The museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in December and January. It will be closed Dec. 26. Free admission.

BetterTogether Nonprofit Luncheon Series: Will discuss the keys to volunteer management with June Miller, regional director of the Indiana Nonprofit Resource Network from 11:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Ivy Tech Community College. Red Hatters of Madison: Will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Key West Shrimp House, 117 Ferry St. All Red Hatters and guests are welcome.
Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of Charlie Humphrey. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3 and includes snacks, drinks and door prizes.
Light Up Bedford: Will kick off at 5:45 p.m. at the Trimble County Courthouse. Milton elementary school students will sing before the lighting. A parade with the Bedford Volunteer Fire Department will usher Santa Claus from the courthouse to the Morgan Community Center for a chili dinner sponsored by the Bedford Rotary Club and musical entertainment by the Bedford Elementary School and Trimble County Middle School bands.
Christmas Craft Show: Will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Brown Gymnasium.
Sip N' Knit: Will meet from 10 a.m. to noon Saturdays at Harriette's Knit Knook, 103 E. Main St. All types of stitchery are welcome.
A Country Christmas: Visit two historic houses and step back in time to Christmas past at Musee de Venoge, 111 State Road 129, Vevay and the Thiebaud Farmstead, 5147 E. Nutcracker Tea and Concert: The Carroll County Public Library's annual tea will be held at 11 a.m. and will include a concert by a girls choir directed by Connie Golden and special guests, Clara, Grandfather and the Nutcracker for Christmas photos. 17th Annual Cole Brothers Christmas Extravaganza: Will be held from 8 p.m. to midnight at the Historic Broadway Tavern's Livery Stable. The event is a fundraiser for the Bill Cole Memorial Scholarship Fund. Live music will be provided by the Doctors Band and the event will also feature a silent auction, 50/50 drawing, appetizers and a cash bar. Admission is $25 per couple or $15 for individuals.
