French Kisses: The Madison Community Players will present the comedy "French Kisses." The dinner theater will be held Feb. 15 and Feb. 16 at the Livery Stable. The doors open at 6 p.m. and dinner starts at 6:30 p.m., with the show to follow the meal. Tickets are $28 and are available at Nice Shots!, 131 E. God of Carnage: Hanover College will present the adult comedy by Yasmina Reza, directed by Nichole Marquez at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 15-17. KDH Retirees: Retired employees of King's Daughters' Hospital will meet at 11:30 a.m. at The Pines for lunch.
Red Hatters: The Red Hatters of Madison will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Broadway Historic Hotel Restaurant and Tavern. All Red Hatters and guests are welcome.
Vevay First Friday: Will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. "The Chocolate Walk" will highlight pioneer Swiss chocolatiers and the history of chocolate. Several businesses will participate with special menu items, free giveaways and other chocolate-themed items. The Valentine's Day Card contest opening will also be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Switzerland County Tourism Dept., 128 W. Main St., Vevay. The event is free and open to the public.
The Reen Family Singers: Will perform at 7 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church. The free concert is sponsored by the Madison Performing Arts Foundation.
Senior Dance Canceled: The Madison Parks Department senior dance at the Brown Gym featuring the music of Charlie Humphrey has been canceled.
Willabella Witch's Last Spell Auditions: The Little Grand Theatre Company will hold auditions for three male and six female roles for their March 15-17 production of "Willabella Witch's Last Spell." Virginia Briggs 90th Birthday: Virginia Briggs will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house from 1 to 4 p.m. at Brushy Fork Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 12840 Brushy Fork Church Road, Canaan. River's Bend Writers Group: The newly formed community of writers will meet at 1:30 p.m. to read each other's work and provide respectful feedback. The meetings are held at the Jefferson County Public Library in Madison.
Eddie Brooks 70th Birthday: A 70th birthday celebration will be held for Eddie Brooks from 2 to 4 p.m. at Hanover United Methodist Church. No gifts are requested, but cards are welcome.

International Film Series - Offside: The Hanover College International Film Series will show "Offside" at 7 p.m. in Classic Hall, room 102. The 2006 Iranian film is directed by Jafar Panahi. The film follows Tehran, a soccer fan who isn't allowed inside the stadium because she is female. The series is free and open to the public.

Southwestern Food Pantry: Will be open from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. the first Thursday of the month. The pantry is open to families of Southwestern Middle and High School students and offers food and daily living supplies. "Meet Bentley" Family Fun Night: Meet Bentley, a certified therapy dog and hear his story from owner Janet Myers. Rykers' Ridge Winter Carnival: Rykers' Ridge Elementary School will host their school fair from 5 to 8 p.m. with food available from B&R Barbeque and an auction led with Sarah Minor.
Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of the Gary Hewitt and the Honky Tonk Band. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.
Mardi Gras Winter Gala: Will be held in Struck Gymnasium at the Horner Center on the Hanover College Campus featuring the music of Mojo and the Bayou Gypsies. The event starts with a cash-bar at 6 p.m. followed by a buffet dinner at 7 p.m. and live music and dancing at 7:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $30 and must be reserved by Jan. 29.
