Human Resources Seminar: The Kentucky Career Center and the Kentucky Association of Manufacturers will host a free information session designed to address human resource needs with information on the National Career Readiness Certificate, workforce training tax credits, focus talent/focus career, unemployment insurance and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. LG&E Coal Ash Landfill Public Meeting: LG&E has filed a second permit application to construct a 189-acre coal fly ash landfill. A public meeting will be held at 7 p.m. in the Trimble County High School gym. The purpose of the meeting is to give the community notice of the application, allow questions of the Division of Waste Management staff and voice concerns to the project.
