The World Comes to Madison: The Seifert-Short Museum and Learning Center, 113 E. Third St., will display nativities and crèches from around the world during the holiday season. The museum will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays in December and January. Free admission.
Spoofydoofs' Funnybone: The Little Grand Theatre Company will present Spoofydoofs' Funnybone Jan. 25-27 at 7 p.m., with an additional showing Jan. 26 at 2:30 p.m. at The Ohio Theatre. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $5 for children.
Walking: The Brown Gym will be open for walking from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information call (812) 265-8308.
Yoga: Will be held at 9:45 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays at the Carroll County Public Library.

CCPL Board Meeting: The Carroll County Public Library Board will meet at noon.

Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of Tommy Day and Cool Country. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.
Violin Virtuosi: The Hanover College Community Arts Series will present Violin Virtuosi at 7:30 p.m. in Fitzgibbon Recital Hall in Lynn Center for Fine Arts. Advance tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for youths. Tickets will be $15 if purchased on the day of the show. Beef Tagging: Jefferson County 4-H beef tagging will be held from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Jefferson County 4-H Fairgrounds. Any 4-H member planning to show a beef and/or dairy steer at the fair must bring their animal to be tagged. For more information call (812) 265-8919. Make-up beef tagging will be Jan. 26 from 7 to 10 a.m.
Photography Class: Tim Hendricks will teach a three-part series covering the basics of photography from 10 a.m. to noon Jan. 5, 12 and 19 at the Carroll County Public Library. Those attending are asked to bring their camera and camera manual. Registration is requested by calling (502) 732-7020.

Chili Supper: The North Madison Volunteer Fire Department, 1825 Allen St., will host a chili supper from 2 to 9 p.m.

John W. Lee 90th Birthday: Friends and family are invited to celebrate the 90th birthday of John W. Lee from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Versailles Post 173 of the American Legion, 119 S. Washington St., Versailles. Lee, formerly of Fairview, is a lifelong resident of Switzerland and Jefferson counties. Refreshments will be served. He requests no gifts.

Martin Luther King Day Program: Trinity United Methodist Church will host a Martin Luther King program from noon until 1 p.m. The speaker will be Rev. Ron Norris. A light lunch will follow the service with a limited number of to-go lunches available for those who must return to work.
Marade: As part of Hanover College's Martin Luther King Jr. Week the college will host a marade starting at 3 p.m. in the J. Graham Brown Campus Center lobby.
Belly Dance for Fitness: Will be held at 5:15 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
Mother Goose on the Loose: Storytime for babies and toddlers age 6 to 35 months and a caregiver will be held Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison Branch from Jan. 15-Feb. 12. Registration is required. Call (812) 265-2744.
Poetry Slam: As part of Hanover College's Martin Luther King Jr. Week the college will host a poetry slam at 7 p.m. in the Haq Center on campus.
MLK Art Show: As part of Hanover College's Martin Luther King Jr. Week the college will host a a Martin Luther King Art Show in the lobby of the J. Graham Brown Campus Center on the Hanover College Campus.

Madison Chamber and Economic Development Dinner: Will be held at the Brown Campus Center on the Hanover College Campus with a cocktail reception from 5:30 to 7 p.m. and the dinner and meeting from 7:15 to 9 p.m.

Reds Caravan: Will stop at the Historic Hoosier Theater from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. The tour will include broadcaster Thom Brennaman, chief operating officer Phil Castellini, baseball operations president Walt Jockety, veteran catcher Corky Miller, outfielder Jay Bruce and minor leaguer Ryan LaMarre. The group will be available to answer questions and sign autographs. It is free and open to the public.
Craft Time: Craft time for children ages 10 and under will be held at 6 p.m. Thursdays at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison Branch from Jan. 17 to Feb. 21. Some crafts may be messy. The event will not be held Feb. 14. For more information call (812) 265-2744.
