Orchard Support Group: A support group for pregnant mothers, new mothers and mothers of older children who are battling addiction will meet from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Thursdays at the King's Daughters' Hospital.

Senior Citizens: The Madison Senior Center, 208 W. Main St., hosts activities during the week including euchre at noon on Monday and Thursday, and bingo at 10 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday. The center also has a pool table, Wii, and dominoes. Lunch is available each day, but those interested must sign-up the day prior. For more information call (812) 265-4758.

Family Film Series: The Ohio Theatre will offer free showings of "The Lorax" at 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Fourth Monday Storytime: Will be held at 11 a.m. at Village Lights Bookstore. Jill Kelly Koren will tailor the selections to the ages of the audience.

Fourth Monday Book Group: Will meet at noon at the Carroll County Public Library to discuss "Seating Arrangements" by Maggie Shipstead. Copies are available at the desk.

Court Street Cinemas: Will show "42" at 6 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. The film is rated PG13.

Jefferson County Board of Health: Will meet at 6 p.m. in the board room at the Jefferson County Health Department, 715 Green Road.

Historic District Board of Review: Will meet at 5:30 p.m. in Madison City Hall. The filing deadline for applications to be considered is July 3.

Lexington Historical Society: Will meet at 7 p.m. at the Lexington Christian Church. The meeting will feature a patriotic program with member participation..

Veterans Benefits Representative: A veterans benefits field representative from the Kentucky Department of Veteran Affairs will be at the Veterans Affairs Health Clinic in Carrollton, Ky. on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The representative will be available to assist veterans and widows/widowers for free in filing for federal and state benefits for veterans and dependents. Silly Safari: Will present "Live Animals Who Live Underground" at 6 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. The program will also cap the library's Summer Reading Program. Reading logs should be turned in by 8 p.m. July 23 to be eligible for prizes.

Computer Basics for Seniors: The Carroll County Public Library will offer computer basics for seniors from 10:30 a.m. to noon. Seniors are welcome to bring their own laptop or use one owned by the library.

Succulent Garden: Create a shoe planter for succulents at 3:30 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. Bring a worn out boot or sneaker, or even a pair of ill-fitting heels. The library will provide the soil and starter plants. The program is for adults and children with an adult helper.

Madison Moveable Feast: The progressive dinner will feature various locations in and near Madison from 4 to 9 p.m. July 26. Tickets are $50 per person, $35 per Indiana Landmarks member. Reservations are required. For more information visit www.indianalandmarks.org.

Art Opening Reception - Up and Out: An opening reception will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. The artwork of Madison native Emi Knight will be on display at Village Lights Bookstore through Sept. 24.

Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of the Gary Hewitt and the Honky Tonk Band. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.
