Summer Lunch: Will be served as part of Gleaners Summer Meals for Kids program, Monday through Friday, June 4-July 31. It will not be held July 4. Meals will be served in Hanover from noon to 12:25 p.m. at West Lawn Mobile Home Park, Rainbow Apartments and Woodside Mobile Homes 1; and from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at Woodside Mobile Homes 2, Jones Mobile Home Park and at the corner of Sycamore and Maple streets. Meals will be served in Madison from noon to 12:40 p.m. at Presidential Estates/Windridge Apartments, from noon to 12:20 p.m. at Madison Mobile Home Village, from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at Valley Court Apartments and from noon to 1 p.m. at the Salvation Army.
Pep Walks: King's Daughters' Health will host weekly walks on Thursdays from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., June 5 through Aug. 28, except for July 3. The walks start and finish at the KDH/Trilogy Health parking garage on Broadway. All ages and fitness levels are welcome. Walkers are encouraged to walk by themselves or with a group at their own pace. Downtown walking maps will be provided for various 1 to 4-mile courses. Cold water will be provided. Jefferson County House of Hope: Will provide free food and supplies to residents of Jefferson County who are in need. A household may visit once every 30 days. Guests will be served from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and from 9 a.m. to noon Fridays. The clearinghouse is located at 100 E. Second St. The entrance is located off First St., at the rear of the building.

Open Swim: The pool at the Madison Consolidated Junior High School will be open for a community swim on Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m., and Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Admission is $1 per person, and elementary-aged children and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
Farmer's Market: Will run from April 1 through Oct. 31 on Broadway between Main and Third streets. The market is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m.
