Trimble County Fair: Will be held June 17-22 with carnival rides, exhibits, pageants and contests. Regular fair admission is $10 a night and includes all the rides and fair events.
Everyday Art, 1820-1860: A collaborative event on the domestic arts of the 19th century will be held at the Musee de Venoge and the Thiebaud farmstead June 22-23. The two National Register Historic sites will provide the setting for classes and public presentations featuring what were once everyday arts. Summer Theater Workshop: The Historic Hoosier Theatre, 209 Ferry St., Vevay, will host a children's summer theater workshop June 24-28 from 1 to 5 p.m. each day. The workshop is open to children ages 8 to 19. The students will present a free show at 5:30 p.m. June 28. Registration is $10. Playdough Fun: Will be held at 10 a.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison branch and at 2 p.m. at the Hanover branch as part of the library's summer schedule for kids and young adults.
Design-A-Shirt: Will be held at 10:30 a.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Hanover branch as part of the library's summer schedule for young adults.
Preschool Play Day: Will be held at 11 a.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. Bring a sack lunch and join others eating lunch in the garden.
Court Street Cinemas: Will show "Journey to the Center of the Earth" at 2 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of the Gary Hewitt and the Honky Tonk Band. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.
Antique Tractor Show: Will be held at 6 p.m. at the Trimble County Fair.
Little Miss/Mister Contest: Will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Trimble County Fair.
Motocross: Will be held at 7 p.m. at the Trimble County Fair.
Youth Livestock Auction: Will be held at 7 p.m. at the Trimble County Fair.
6 Miles South: Will be perform at 8:30 p.m. at the Trimble County Fair.
Arts and Crafts Show: The Madison Senior Citizens Center will sponsor an arts and crafts show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Bicentennial Park. Proceeds will benefit the Senior Center. For more information call (812) 265-4758.
The Garden Club: Make a rain chain at 10 a.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. The library has all of the materials available, but those attending are welcome to bring their own special rocks. The program is for adults and children with an adult helper.
Recycle Day: RecycleForce, a non-profit, recycling service will be at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison branch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The organization will collect many items that are difficult to recycle. For more information visit www.recycleforce.org.

Trimble County Fair Parade: Will be held at 1 p.m. Line-up for the parade will be at noon at the Trimble County High School. The parade will run from the high school, through Bedford, Ky. and end at Signature Healthcare of Trimble County.
Meet the Author - Stephen Leigh: Award-winning science fiction writer will host a reading and book signing from 1 to 3 p.m. at Village Lights Bookstore. Leigh also creates fantasy novels under the name S.L. Farrell.

M.O.V.E.: Milers of Ohio Valley, a newly formed running/walking club for Madison and the surrounding area, will meet at 7 p.m. upstairs at Fit for the King, 2617 N. Wilson Ave. All are welcome.
