The Drowsy Chaperone: Madison Consolidated High School Theatre presents "The Drowsy Chaperone," a musical within a comedy with shows at 7 p.m. March 1 and March 2, and at 2:30 p.m. March 2 and March 3. Tickets are $10 for main floor seating, $5 for balcony seats. Tickets for all shows are $5 for students. Discounted tickets are $8 for seniors for Saturday's matinee.

March 1

KDH Retirees Luncheon: Retired employees of King's Daughters' Hospital will meet at 11:30 a.m. at The Pines.

Red Hatters of Madison: Will meet for lunch at 11:30 a.m. at Harry's Stone Grill, 621 Clifty Drive. Red Hatters merchandise will be available for purchase. All Red Hatters and guests are welcome.

Friday Crafts: Will be held from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.

Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of Charlie Humphrey. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.

Author Reception: Will be held for Phyllis McLaughlin, author of "Images of America: Carroll County, Kentucky," at 6 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.

First Friday: Vevay will continue to honor their Swiss heritage with the "fete de l'Escalade" during March 1 First Friday events. The program will feature a soup-tasting event at Vevay's Community Art Center, 217 Ferry St. from 6 to 9 p.m.

The German Corner - A Love Story: Johanna Welch will sign copies of "The German Corner, A Love Story," during Vevay's First Friday events March 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Switzerland County Visitors Center, 128 W. Main St., Vevay.

March 2

Dr. Seuss Birthday Bash: Celebrate the birth of Dr. Seuss from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kathryn Winn Elementary School. The event is sponsored by Family Ties.

Bridal Show: Belterra Casino Resort will host a bridal show from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. with exhibits from wedding professionals.

Teen Game Day: Will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.

Secrets of the Future: Former Madison resident Janie Mclean will debut her first novel, "Secrets of the Future," which is the first in her Jennie Madison trilogy, from 1 to 3 p.m. March 2 at the Madison Coffee and Tea.

Senior Dance: Will host Silas and the Sidekicks from 5:15 to 9:30 p.m. at the Lide White Boys and Girls Club. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. The band will perform from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is $5. For more information call (812) 599-0848 or (812) 274-0338.

Robert Mulford - Conservationist and Restorer of Native Habitat: The Big Oaks Conservation Society will hold a meeting at the Tyson Memorial Library in Versailles at 6:30 p.m. The featured speaker will be local conservationist, Dr. Robert Mulford.
