Conservators Holiday: The Switzerland County Historical Society will host a week of projects at the museum and farmstead May 20-24. For more information call (812) 427-3560 or visit www.switzcomuseums.org.
Lend Me A Tenor: The Little Grand Theatre Company will present Ken Ludwig's "Lend Me A Tenor" at 7 p.m. May 24-25 and 2:30 p.m. May 26 at the Ohio Theatre. Children's Book Reading: Children's book author and Hanover College student Devon Kondaki will read at 10:30 a.m. the Jefferson County Public Library Hanover Branch. He will read from "¡Hey Ya Mama!" and "The Mystery of the Magical Bwa Bwa Fruit."
Re-Fashion Show: The Salvation Army of Madison will host a re-fashion show from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is limited seating available for this salad luncheon. A donation of $5 is suggested. For more information or for tickets call (812) 265-2157.
Chess Club: Will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Jefferson County Public Library Madison Branch on the third Tuesday of the month.
Extension Homemakers Annual Meeting: The Carroll County Extension Homemakers will hold their annual meeting at 6 p.m. at the Extension Office, 500 Floyd Drive, Carrollton, Ky. Members are encouraged to bring items that bring back memories. A meal will be served, new officers will be installed and awards will be given out. The cost is $16. Home Accessibility Introduction: Learn how to make spaces in the home easier to use with an introduction to universal design and home tour starting at 10 a.m. at the Durr Annex of the Kenton County Cooperative Extension Service in Edgewood, Ky. Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of the Canyon River Band. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.
Fourth Friday - Main Street in Bloom: Will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. in downtown Madison with art, music, and extended business hours.
Alley Art Fair: As part of the Fourth Friday Art Jam, the Art on Main gallery will host an alley art fair from 5 to 8 p.m. with an outdoor display of original artwork. Anyone interested in participating in the display can email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Art Opening Reception - Jeremy Miller: Jeremy Miller will open his show of original works, "Low Down Brow," with a reception from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Twain Room Gallery of Village Lights Bookstore. The show explores so-called "low brow" arts such as tattoo, graphic design and sequential art. The exhibit will run through July 23.

Senior Dance Fundraiser: Will host the Madison Mayor Damon Welch and his band from 5:15 to 9:30 p.m. at the Lide White Boys and Girls Club on the gym side. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. The band will perform from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Admission is $5. There will be a cake walk and other special activities for the fundraiser. Harold Demaree 100th Birthday: Harold Demaree will celebrate his 100th birthday with a reception from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Jewell House, 607 Virginia Ave. He requests no gifts, but cards are welcome.
Hanover Presbyterian Cemetery Memorial Program: Will be held at 3 p.m. with a memorial service to honor those buried in the historic cemetery. The event will include music, refreshments and meditation. All are welcome.
