Holiday Mail for Heroes: The American Red Cross will collect cards and personal messages for veterans, military families and active-duty service members at hospitals and installations around the world. Food for Fines: The Carroll County Public Library will sponsor the annual holiday program. During November and December food donations will be accepted for fine amnesty. For more information call (502) 732-7020.
O Madison Where Art Thou?: River Run Theatre Company and the Cultural Continuum will present a musical event at 7 p.m. Nov. 2 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at Red Bicycle Hall, 125 E. Fish Fry: Kent Volunteer Fire Company will host a fish fry from 4 to 8 p.m. Proceeds will go to the Greg Cloud Memorial Scholarship.
Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of Charlie Humphrey. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.
Jefferson County Historical Society Annual Dinner: Will be held at the museum, 615 W. First St., with new exhibits and renovations on display. Trick-Or-Treat: Will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in Madison and Hanover.
Pumpkins, Gourds and Squash - Vevay First Friday: The Switzerland County Visitors Center will feature pumpkin bowling for adults and youth from 6 to 9 p.m. on Liberty St. during Vevay's First Friday. Pancake Breakfast: The Hanover Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons 652 will host a pancake, waffle, egg, sausage and bacon breakfast from 6 to 10:30 a.m. at 240 W. Main St., Hanover. Freewill donations will be accepted.
Bean and Craft Bazaar: The Retired Senior Volunteer Program will host a bean and craft bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with handmade crafts, baked goods and Christmas decorations. A bean soup and cornbread luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church, 512 W. Main St. The meal includes a homemade dessert and a drink for $5.
Mike Claytor: The democratic candidate for state auditor will visit Democratic Headquarters, 406 E. Main, at noon.
Teen Game Day: Will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
Court Street Cinemas: Will show "Monsters University" at 2 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. The film is rated G.
