A.D.E.P.T. Level I: Will meet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Nov. 8 and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 9 at the Salvation Army, 331 E. Main St.

Holiday Mail for Heroes: The American Red Cross will collect cards and personal messages for veterans, military families and active-duty service members at hospitals and installations around the world. Food for Fines: The Carroll County Public Library will sponsor the annual holiday program. During November and December food donations will be accepted for fine amnesty. For more information call (502) 732-7020.
O Madison Where Art Thou?: River Run Theatre Company and the Cultural Continuum will present a musical event at 7 p.m. Nov. 2 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 3 at Red Bicycle Hall, 125 E. Main St. The event features live music from " O Brother, Where Art Thou?" Seating is limited. For more information visit the Cultural Continuum on Facebook.
Red Hatters of Madison: Will meet at 11:30 a.m. at Bob Evans, 519 E. Clifty Drive. All Red Hatters and guests are welcome. For more information call (812) 265-4433.
Knit & Crochet: The Carroll County Public Library will host a knitting group at 3:30 p.m. Fridays. They will be starting to make granny squares. Needles and yarn will be available to get started. For more information call (502) 732-7020.
Fish Fry: Kent Volunteer Fire Company will host a fish fry from 4 to 8 p.m. Proceeds will go to the Greg Cloud Memorial Scholarship.
Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of Charlie Humphrey. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6 p.m. Admission is $3.50 per person.
Jefferson County Historical Society Annual Dinner: Will be held at the museum, 615 W. First St., with new exhibits and renovations on display. The social hour begins at 6 p.m. followed by dinner at 7, a story teller and silent auction. Tickets are $25 per person. For more information or to reserve a seat call (812) 265-2335 by Oct. 29.
Trick-Or-Treat: Will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. in Madison and Hanover.
Pumpkins, Gourds and Squash - Vevay First Friday: The Switzerland County Visitors Center will feature pumpkin bowling for adults and youth from 6 to 9 p.m. on Liberty St. during Vevay's First Friday. A friendly headless horseman will also roam the streets, making stops for pictures on Liberty St. For more information visit www.switzcotourism.com or call (812) 427-3237.
Pancake Breakfast: The Hanover Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons 652 will host a pancake, waffle, egg, sausage and bacon breakfast from 6 to 10:30 a.m. at 240 W. Main St., Hanover. Freewill donations will be accepted.
Bean and Craft Bazaar: The Retired Senior Volunteer Program will host a bean and craft bazaar from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. with handmade crafts, baked goods and Christmas decorations. A bean soup and cornbread luncheon will begin at 11 a.m. at the First Christian Church, 512 W. Main St. The meal includes a homemade dessert and a drink for $5.
Mike Claytor: The democratic candidate for state auditor will visit Democratic Headquarters, 406 E. Main, at noon.
Teen Game Day: Will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
Court Street Cinemas: Will show "Monsters University" at 2 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library. The film is rated G.
Southwestern Class of 1973 Reunion: The 40-year class reunion will begin at 2 p.m. at Steve Kleopfer's residence, 7475 W. Jackson Road, Lexington. For more information or to R.S.V.P. call (812) 866-4531.
Foster Parent Pre-Service Training Class: The National Youth Advocate Program will offer foster parent pre-service training from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information call (800) 381-9673.
Chili Supper: North Madison Volunteer Fire Company 5, 1825 Allen St., will host a chili supper from 4 to 8 p.m.
Fall Festival: Bedford Elementary School will host its annual fall festival.
Fall Chili Supper: The Ryker's Ridge Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual fundraiser chili supper from 4:30 to 7 p.m. at the firehouse.

Genealogy Class: Will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the Carroll County Public Library.
IKE Retirees: Retired employees of the Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corporation will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. at Clifty Falls State Park's Falls Restaurant in Clifty Inn. All retirees and guests are welcome.
B4K Club: Will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesdays at the Carroll County Public Library. The group was formerly known as Toddler Time.
Veterans Day Lunch and Program: Milton Elementary School will host a Veterans Day lunch and program from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.
Ulster Project Information Night: Teens ages 14-16 and parents are invited to attend an information night at 6:30 p.m. at the Eggleston Building, 419 East St. Learn more about the 2014 Ulster Project and the application process.
