Senior Nutritional Meals: LifeTime Resources offers meals for seniors Monday through Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Jefferson County Senior Citizens Center, 208 W. Main St. Meals are not served on holidays.

Depression Support Group: A spiritually-based depression support group will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1429 Clifty Drive. Halloween Fun: The city of Milton will also host a Halloween event during the city's trick-or-treat Oct. 31 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Milton Municipal Building.

Red, White and Boo!: Will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Vaughn Drive near Bicentennial Park with many local organizations sponsoring games and candy for young children as an alternative to door to door trick-or-treating. A costume contest is planned for 6:30 p.m., with registration beginning at 6 p.m. In case of rain the event will be moved to the Brown Gym.

Red, White and Boogie!: Will be held in front of Crystal Beach on Vaughn Drive from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. with music and food. Teenagers are encouraged to dress up in costume for the event.

Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of Charlie Humphrey. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3 and includes snacks, drinks and door prizes.

Diane Earl and Alfred Abel: Will perform at 7 p.m. at the Madison Presbyterian Church, 202 Broadway. The event is the third concert in the 2012-2013 Madison Performing Arts Foundation series.

Norbert Krapf Poetry Reading and Signing: Village Lights Bookstore will host former Indiana Poet Laureate Norbert Krapf from 1 to 3 p.m. to read and sign his latest book, "Songs in Sepia and Black & White." The book is a collaboration with Richard Fields, whose photographs will be exhibited in the Twain Room during the event.

Gerry Riley 90th Birthday: Gerry Riley will celebrate her 90th birthday from 1 to 4 p.m. with an reception hosted by her family at North Madison Christian Church. All are welcome. She requests no gifts, but cards are welcome.

Chili Supper: Ryker's Ridge Fire Department will host their annual fall chili supper from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the firehouse. The meal will include chili, a ham sandwich, dessert and a drink.
