A.D.E.P.T. I: Will meet from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Salvation Army, 331 E. Main St.

Carroll County Tobacco Festival: Will be held Oct. 4-6 in downtown Carrollton. The event will feature pageants, an old fashioned outhouse race, silent auction, live music, a parade, vendors, a petting zoo, a carnival and more. Asylum of Terror: Will be held on Ferry St. in Vevay Oct. 5 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is $3 per person. Admission is free for children under age 4.
Barefoot in the Park: Will continue with performances at 8 p.m. Oct. 5 and at 2 p.m. Oct. 6 and Oct 7 in Saint Michael the Archangel Church's Grogan Hall. The doors open an hour before the show for cocktail hour. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students with identification.
Bye Bye Birdie: The Little Grand Theatre Company and the Madison Consolidated High School Theatre Department will present the Broadway musical "Bye Bye Birdie" at 7 p.m. Oct. 5 and Oct. 6 and at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 6 and Oct. 7. Tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for children and students with a student ID. Balcony seats are $5.
Christmas Assistance Registration: The Salvation Army , 331 E. Depression Support Group: A spiritually-based depression support group will meet from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1429 Clifty Drive. First Friday: Vevay will celebrate fall during First Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. in Vevay with live music, extended business hours and free carriage rides.
Senior Dance: Will be held Friday by the Madison Parks Department at the Brown Gym featuring the music of Charlie Humphrey. The doors open at 5 p.m. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $3 and includes snacks, drinks and door prizes.
Barber Grocery Annual Breakfast: Will be held from 7 to 9 a.m. at Frisch's Big Boy.
Forestry and Wildlife Management Field Day: Will be held at Dr. Robert Mulford's Farm, 128 E. County Road 200-S, Versailles from 9 a.m. to noon. The field day will highlight woodland management, managing wildlife, fighting invasive plants, shallow water marsh, insect and disease issues, cost-share funds, native grass species management, and prescribed grazing. Lowes' Rock Your Kitchen Open House: Will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Lowes of Madison to celebrate National Kitchen and Bath month with live demonstrations and clinics.
Sleep Hollow Festival: Will be held from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Vevay with pie baking contests, live entertainment, an antique tractor show, a pet parade, arts fair and appearances by a headless horseman.
Aviation Awareness Day: Will be held at the Madison Municipal Airport with a fly-in, plane rides, good and more. Gates open at 9 a.m. The air show starts at 11:30 a.m. Food will be provided by the Milton Fire Department. Parking is free. For more information call (812) 273-1914.

Madison Juvenile Correctional Facility Community Day Fundraiser: Will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the open field acorss from the Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery with games, food and prizes. Tickets for games are 25 cents or five for $1. All proceeds go to area youth at risk.
Fish Fry: Will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Deputy Volunteer Fire Department.
