The Pilot Club of Madison will host the Michigan-Indiana District Workshop Oct. 26-28 with approximately 40-50 members scheduled to attend the conference.

Pilot International is a volunteer service organization now in its 91st year. Clubs from Muncie, Jeffersonville, South Bend, Scottsburg, New Albany and Madison will attend. The event will include a variety of workshops, speakers and a BrainMinder puppet presentation.

Pilot International treasurer Suzanne Kendra of Gunterville, Ala. will also attend the conference.

Club members will host a power brain walk Saturday at 4:30 p.m. on the Madison riverfront. All are welcome. Pilot promotes programs and activities that foster awareness of brain-related disorders and disabilities.

The local Pilot Club meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Madison Senior Citizen's Center, 208 W. Main St. All are welcome.
