Smith-Harrell vows exchanged

Melanie Smith of Hanover and J.R. Harrell of Madison exchanged vows Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Hanover Beach. Dennis Ingle presided over the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Donna Watkins of Hanover and John Watkins of Nabb. She is a 1992 graduate of Southwestern High School and a 1996 graduate of Bellarmine University. She graduated with a master's degree in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2012. She is employed with O.V.O. Head Start of Madison.
The groom is the son of Rocky and Karen Harrell of Madison. He is a 1997 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School. He is employed with Craig Toyota.
The bride was escorted by her father and Trevor Smith, son of the bride. Autumn Cutshall, daughter of the groom, was a bridesmaid. Trevor Smith, son of the bride, was a groomsmen.
A reception followed the ceremony at the Knights of Columbus.
The new couple reside in the Kent area.
