Southwestern Middle School's annual sixth grade science fair was held Nov. 29. Students participated in the voluntary three-month-long investigations. Judges for the event were Dow Corning's Richard Johnson and Cliff Carnes and Paul de Lamerens from the Indiana-Kentucky Electric Corporation. Science fair winners were Talon Harmon, first place, Addison Hill, second place, John Sutter, third place, and Joshua Files, fourth place. Other science fair participants were Jonathan Stockdale, Eric Scott, Brendan Courter and Megan Thomas. Several students will continue on to the Southeastern Indiana Regional Science Fair March 2 at Hanover College. (Submitted photo)
