The Jefferson County Historical Society, 615 W. First St., will present "Creating an 1820s Kitchen Garden at Musee de Venoge" Thursday at 7 p.m.

Donna Weaver, board president of Musee de Venoge Inc., will discuss the work and research involved in the creation of an 1820s kitchen garden for the historic site. The lecture will include the journey and evolution of the kitchen garden over the last four years, along with pictures of the Switzerland County property. Mark Reed will also have a display from his heirloom seed company.
