Milton Elementary School recently announced the honor roll for the second nine-weeks of the 2012-2013 school year.

Students named to the list include:

Third Grade

A: Matthew Ashcraft, Chloe Boehnlein, Kagan Craig, Brody Cull, Harrison Felts, Kaci Huff, Bella McDole, Andrew Meador, Morgan Overton and Chaynon Wynn.

A and B: Colton Auxier, Jordan Brierly, Savannah Crawford, Andrew Dobbs, Kailyna Loos, Cullen Morey, Bailey Nichols, Brenda Parkin, Logan Quiroz, Mitchell Sparks, Sean Spurr and Tayten Vonch.

Fourth Grade

Four area residents were recently named to the dean's list at Georgetown College for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 school year. Students named to the list must carry a minimum of 12 credit hours and earn a grade point average of 3.7 or higher on a 4.0 scale. Local students were Cody Arthur Boles of Carrollton, Ky., Joshua Tanner Mahoney of Lexington, Jensen Wainscott of Worthville, Ky. and William Carol Yager of Carrollton, Ky.



Gail Peak of Madison was named to the dean's list for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 school year at Lewis University. Peak is studying athletic training.



Brooke Bell of Madison was named to the University Honors list for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 school year at the University of Southern Indiana.



Indiana University East recently announced their honors lists for the fall semester of the 2012-2013 school year.

Students who take 12 or more credit hours and complete the semester with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale are named to the school's dean's list.

Area residents named to the dean's list include Kenneth Austin of Deputy; William Butters of Hanover; Chester Biddle, Heather Minor and Amber Wampler, all of Madison; Shona Marshall of Lexington; and Shelby Poling of Vevay.

Students who take 12 or more credit hours and complete the semester with a grade point average of 4.0 on a 4.0 scale are named to the school's chancellor's list.

Area residents named to the chancellor's list include Kari Arrowood of Deputy, Linda Novello of Hanover; Emily Barnes of Madison; and Greta Atwood and Alyssa Leap, both of Vevay.
