Three local students were named to the honors list for the spring semester of the 2013-2014 school year at the University of Southern Indiana. Undergraduate students must earn a 3.5 or higher grade point average on a 4.0 scale to be named to the list. Area students included Alexandria Drossart of Hanover, and Jennifer Bates and Jenna Spiller of Madison.
Milton Elementary School recently announced its honor roll for the fourth nine-weeks of the 2013-2014 school year. Students named to the lists were:
A: Alivia Adams, Bailyn Clifford, Brayden Crumley, Kameron Duke, Emma Ginn, Maddie Isley, Gracie Jent, Brian Morrison, Max Pyles, Jeffrey Ward, Ally Zuckschwerdt, Aubree Craig, Anneliese Crumley and Jessica Spurr.

Kristopher A. Bell of Dupont was named to the Parkland College dean's list for the spring semester of the 2013-2014 school year. Students must earn a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for the semester.
