Switzerland Co. hosts Valentine's Day card contest

Switzerland County Tourism is hosting a Valentine's Day card contest.
Switzerland County residents may drop off contest entries, made from any medium, along with vintage cards for display at the Switzerland County Visitors Center, 128 W. Main St., Vevay, Jan. 28-30 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Entries are limited to one per person.
The contest opens during Vevay Main Street's "Chocolate Walk" First Friday, Feb. 1 from 6 to 9 p.m. The First Friday event is free and open to the public. It includes extended shopping hours, live entertainment and art openings. Free carriage rides will be available, weather permitting.
Contest entries will be on display at the visitors center from Feb. 1-24.
Cards may be for sale, with prices set by each individual artist/crafter. All entries must remain on display throughout the entire exhibit.
