Whitham-Anderson vows exchanged

Christy Whitham and James Anderson
Christy Whitham and James Anderson, both of Madison, exchanged vows Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Rev. John Meyer presided.
The bride is the daughter of Marilyn Birge of Madison and the late Donald Birge. She is employed with Joas & Stotts Law Office.
The groom is the son of the late Ralph and Janet Anderson. He is employed with North American Stainless.
The bride was escorted by Terry Birge and Keith Birge, brothers of the bride. The matron of honor was Shawna Birge, sister-in-law of the bride. Shelby Whitham was the bridesmaid. Sophie Whitham served as the flower girl.
The best man was J.R. Young, friend of the groom. Hunter Anderson was the groomsman. Cooper Birge served as the ring bearer.
Ushers were Greg Morris and Collin Birge. Faith Todd was the vocalist and Pam Deveary was the instrumentalist. The reader was Jamin Tuttle. Sommer Johnson attended the guest registry and Sandy Birge distributed programs.
A reception followed the ceremony at The Livery Stable.
They celebrated their vows with a trip to Marathon, Fla. The couple reside at 1829 E. Telegraph Hill Road, Madison.
