Shawe Memorial Junior Senior High School inducted 13 members into its chapter of the National Honor Society during a ceremony earlier this month. “National Honor Society members are chosen for and then expected to continue their exemplary contributions to the school and community,” chapter advisor Jennifer Nigg said in a release. Since its start in 1959, the Father Michael Shawe chapter has sponsored school and community service projects including canned food drives and nursing home visits each year.
