Forrester-Welty vows exchanged

Meghan Forrester and Brye Welty, both of Madison, exchanged vows Saturday, May 30, 2015, at North Madison Christian Church. Pastors Robby King and Tim Chandler presided.

The bride is the daughter of Matthew and Andrea Forrester of Madison. She is a 2010 graduate of Madison Consolidated High School and a 2014 graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion with degrees in Christian education and children’s ministry. She is employed with Madison Consolidated Schools.
The groom is the son of Shannon Stidham of Madison and Brent Welty of Milton, Ky. He is a 2012 graduate of Madison Consolidated Schools. He plans to graduate from Johnson University in Knoxville, Tenn. in December with degrees in preaching and church leadership. He is employed with North Madison Christian Church and Lytle Funeral Homes.
The bride was escorted by her father. Friend of the bride, Breanna Hermesch, served as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brooke Wynn, Kayla Bell, Sarah Baulac, Kennedy Stidham and Abigail Stidham. The flower girl was Hadley Barnes-Hinson.
Friend of the groom, Landin Hull, served as best man. Groomsmen were Matt Shears, Jackson Moser, Graham Strondak and Andrew Forrester. The ring bearer was Hudson Chandler.
Marsha Vermilion served as vocalist and Chricket King was the instrumentalist. Amber Hawkins was the reader. Ushers were Larry Reverman, Samuel Cutshall and Seth Andrew. Bridget Elston and Kaitlin Adler attended the guest registry and programs were distributed by Casey Williams and Aleah Cutshall.
A reception followed the ceremony in the Overlook Room of Clifty Falls State Park’s Clifty Inn.
The new couple celebrated their vows with a trip to Gulf Shores, Ala.
They reside at 806 Montclair St., Madison.
