Griffin-Rollins vows exchanged

Karen Dale Griffin and Bill Gerry Rollins of Rushville
Karen Dale Griffin of Madison and Bill Gerry Rollins of Rushville exchanged vows Saturday, Dec. 12, 2009 at Linza Graham Park in Scottsburg. Scottsburg Mayor William H. "Bill" Graham presided.
The bride is the daughter of the late Melvin and Kathleen Griffin. She was a graduate of Madison Consolidated High School.
The groom is the son of Robert and Jane Rollins Rushville. He is a graduate of Rushville High School. He is employed with the City of Scottsburg as an A & R contractor.
The bride was escorted by her brothers, George and Joey Griffin. The matron of honor was Melissa Griffin, sister-in-law of the bride. Bridesmaids were Erica, Angee and Darla Griffin and Sarah Torrance. The flower girl was Courtney Griffin.
The best man was Jerry Asher, friend of the groom. Groomsmen were Jeff Brady, Josh Martini, John Burns and Silven Vires. Peyton Obertate served as the ring bearer.
A reception followed there ceremony at the same location. The new couple will reside in Scottsburg.
