Elbert “Ickey” Woods
Former Cincinnati Bengal running back Elbert "Ickey" Woods is this year's Madison Regatta Parade Grand Marshal.

Woods was one of the breakout stars in the NFL when, as a rookie in 1988, he helped lead the Bengals to the American Football Conference title and to Super Bowl XXIII. Woods rushed for 1,066 yards and scored 15 touchdowns that season as the Bengals went 12-4.

Since his retirement, Woods has been a fixture in the Cincinnati community. He runs the Jovante Woods Foundation, which is named after his son who died from asthma in 2010. He is also the owner and head coach of the Cincinnati Sizzle of the Women's Football Alliance.
