Carroll County's girls basketball team went 0-2 over the weekend with road losses at Owen County on Friday and at Shelby County on Saturday.

The Panthers (0-5) fell to Owen (4-1) 62-20 on Friday in Owenton where Carroll managed just six field goals on 23 attempts but was 7-of-10 at the foul line.

MaKena Kindoll led the Panthers with seven points while Miranda Groseclose scored six and Lauren Moore had three.

Carroll lost 53-34 at Shelby County (3-2) on Saturday in Shelbyville where the Panthers were 12-of-35 from the field and 8-of-16 at the foul line.

Kindoll led Carroll with 16 points while Kayla Williamson scored eight and Doodle Amick had five.

Carroll hosts Henry County as part of a girls-boys varsity double-header tonight in Carrollton.
