Carroll County used a big third quarter to pull away to a 57-45 win over Bellevue in boys basketball Saturday at home.

The Panthers led 27-22 at halftime but outscored their guests 17-7 in the third.

Carroll County shot 54 percent from the floor, hitting 21-of-39 overall and 5-of-12 (42 percent) from 3-point range. The Panthers were also 10-of-13 from the free throw line.

Trey Boles scored 16 points to lead Carroll County. Brandon Stewart had 13 points and John Michael Adams scored 10 points and had eight rebounds.

Richard Meredith scored 10 points to lead Bellevue (12-14).

Carroll County, now 15-10 on the season, hosts South Oldham on Tuesday.
