Former Southwestern Lady Rebel Camille Cline had a strong tournament for Florida College in the United States Collegiate Athletic Association Volleyball National Championships held this weekend in Canton, N.Y.

Cline, a sophomore middle blocker, had three kills, a solo block and two assisted blocks in Florida's loss to Daemen (N.Y.) in the national title game on Sunday. The Falcons lost 22-25, 25-22, 25-23, 25-19.

Earlier in the day, defending national champion Florida College beat SUNY Canton 25-12, 25-19, 25-16 in the national semifinals. Cline had six kills in the win.

On Saturday, Florida beat Johnson & Wales (Fla.) 25-16, 25-6 and New Hampshire Tech 25-16, 25-7 to wrap up pool play. Cline had five kills and two assisted blocks against J&I and six kills and an assisted block against NHTI.

In the opening round of the single-elimination tournament, Florida beat Carlow (Pa.) 25-17, 25-10, 25-17 behind five kills and two assisted blocks by Cline.
