Cub swimmers sweep own Jingle Bell Invitational

Madison's swim teams picked up a pair of wins in its Jingle Bell Invitational Saturday at home.
The Cubs won the boys meet with 310 points. Oldenburg was second with 262 pointsand Switzerland County had 159.
Madison had 307 points in the girls meet with Oldenburg at 240 and Switzerland County 211.
"Our Invitational was a good meet for us," Madison coach Stacy Crawley said. "Both boys and girls swam exceptionally well. We had several time cuts."
Grant Ward cut time in the 200 IM and the 100 backstroke, Calvin Willhite had times cuts in the 200 IM and the 100 breastroke, Noah Miller cut time in the 100 free and 50 free, Cameron Wykoff cut time in the 100 backstroke and Gabe McMahon cut time in the 100 freestyle.
For the girls, Amber Umila cut time in the 100 freestyle and Bobbi Cruz cut time in the 100 breastroke.
Madison swims at Columbus East today.
