Madison boys win two at Cross Bones

Madison boys track and field scored two wins in the Cross Bones Relays on Saturday at Greensburg High School.
The event, all relays and combined field event scores, does not have team scores.
Madison's Jordan Partee and Gabe Stoll factored in two Cub wins. The two teamed up the long jump for a combined 39 feet, 11.25 inches and added a win in the sprint medley relay with Nick Palmer and Reece Dryden in 1:43.90.
Partee was also second in the high jump with Trenton Roark with a combined distance of 11 feet, 5 inches.
Other second and third place finishes for Madison included Nick Palmer and Hunter Sego, second in the pole vault (23-0) and Palmer, Sego, Logen Cassidy and Daegon Branham, third in the shuttle hurdles (1:15.00).
Nathan Riley and Alex Schmidlapp were second in the shot put (84-7), Riley and Nathan Norris were third in the discus (217-3) and Riley, Norris, Schmidlapp and Cody Arbuckle, were third in the throwers relay (55.60).
Madison also had a trio of sixth place finishes including Dryden and Branham in the long jump at 32 feet; Dryden, Morgan Curry, Stoll and Roark in the 400 relay in 49.20 seconds; and Justin Robertson, Quenton White, Kirkland Royalty and Kevin Stewart in the distance medley relay in 12:25.40.
Madison hosts Southwestern, Shawe, Switzerland County, Rising Sun and Trimble County on Tuesday.
