Madison boys tennis blasted South Dearborn 5-0 on Thursday.

The Cubs dropped just 10 games to the Knights while powering through all five matches in straight sets.

"It was good to see the team play their own games during their wins," said Cubs head coach Desna Ratcliff. "It may have taken some of the players a bit longer than others, but each of the players listened to feedback and tried different skill adjustments, strategies or court positioning."

Match results were: Singles - No. 1 Kyle Sauley (M) d. Luke Armbruster (SD) 6-0, 6-0; No. 2 Sam McIlvain (M) d. Adam Dreihaus (SD) 6-1, 6-1; No. 3 Cole Callahan (M) d. Keaton Ballart (SD) 6-0, 6-0; Doubles - No. 1 Noah Stookey, Clark Vaughn (M) d. Ryan Howell, Jeff Wohlfrom (SD) 6-0, 6-3; No. 2 Luke Lipps, Ceaton Bowman (M) d. Blake Dreihaus, Kyle McGaha (SD) 6-4, 6-1.

"Friday we get to prepare for Batesville on Saturday and Southwestern on Monday," Ratcliff added. "Each team has different styles so it'll test our resiliency."

Madison (4-2) travels to Batesville on Saturday.
