Southwestern's boys golf team won a three-way match with Milan and South Ripley on Wednesday at Spring Hills Golf Course in Hanover.

The Rebels carded a team score of 171 to edge runner-up Milan by one stroke. South Ripley finished a distant third with a 199.

Southwestern's Michael Perry was the match medalist, shooting a 2-over par 38 in the nine-hole match. The Rebels' Ashton Hill and Milan's Travis Butte tied for second with a pair of 40s while South Ripley's Devin Tankersley was third with a 41.

Southwestern also got a 44 from Brynen Chitwood and a 49 by Stacey Noble while Milan's scoring was rounded out by Paul Hawk, Jake Haugh and Eli Schmitt, who all carded 44s.

After Tankersley, South Ripley got a 46 from Shawn Ryle, a 48 from Joey Waldron and a 64 from Michael Pope.

Southwestern will be back in action today when the Rebels compete in a four-way match with Shawe, New Washington and Jac-Cen-Del at the North Branch Golf Course in Greensburg.
