Southwestern's swim teams picked up a pair of wins at Milan on Tuesday.

The Rebels had six wins and scored 112 points to win the boys meet. Milan scored 93 points and Oldenburg Academy had 86.

The Lady Rebels won five events and tied Milan for top honors with 125 points. Oldenburg had 41 and Shawe scored 14.

Picking up wins for the Southwestern boys were: Zachary Hamilton, 200 IM, 2:36.35 and 100 breast, 1:20.23; Nathan Anderson, 200 free, 2:22.87; Jacob Shaffer, 100 free, 1:08.12; Nicholas Battjes, 500 free, 7:00.48; and Jacob Grayson, Anderson, Hamilton and Travis Higham, 400 free relay, 4:24.82.

Earning wins for the Southwestern girls were: Jordan Worcester, 200 free, 2:16.48 and 500 free, 6:06.82; Lakin Henderson, 100 breast, 1:20.11; Worcester, Gianna Bennett, Zaynah Watson and Meredith Webber, 200 medley relay, 2:17.99; and Bennett, Webber, Rebekah Anderson and Worcester, 200 free relay, 1:58.45.

Shawe's Liz Grote won a pair of events, the 200 IM in 2:27.52 and the 100 butterfly in 1:06.49.

Other top three finishes for the Southwestern boys were: Dylan Truesdell, second, 50 free, 27.85 and third, 100 fly, 1:22.06; Ryan Furnish, second, 500 free, 7:12.69 and third, 200 free, 2:30.49; Anderson, second, 100 back, 1:14.77; Higham, second, 100 breast, 1:26.82; Anderson, Hamilton, Truesdell and Higham, second, 200 medley relay, 2:33.72; Grayson, third, 100 free, 1:09.49; and Grayson, Battjes, Shaffer and Truesdell, third, 200 free relay, 2:03.69.

Other top three finishes for the Southwestern girls were: Anderson, second, 200 free, 2:33.72 and second, 500 free, 6:47.08; Bennett, second, 200 IM, 2:36.33 and second, 100 breast, 1:21.33; Webber, second, 50 free, 30.80 and third, 100 free, 1:08.18; Henderson, second, 100 fly, 1:13.05; Anderson, Watson, Jennah Butters and Cassidy Weaver, second, 400 free relay, 5:07.39; and Sarah Schroeder, third, 100 back, 1:31.67.
