Southwestern rolled to three lopsided wins in swimming action Thursday in Hanover.

The Lady Rebels scored a 128-30 win over Providence and a 132-12 victory over Shawe. The Southwestern boys defeated Providence 111-13.

Providence beat Shawe 66-12 in girls swimming.

Winning events for the Southwestern girls were: Gianna Bennett, 200 IM, 2:35.94 and 100 breast, 1:21.49; Lakin Henderson, 100 fly, 1:16.25; Rebekah Anderson, 500 free, 7:14.90; Jordan Worcester, Bennett, Henderson and Meredith Webber, 200 medley relay, 2:17.43 and 200 free relay, 1:59.54; and Anderson, Sarah Schroeder, Jennah Butters and Zaynah Watson, 400 free relay, 5:14.56.

Winning events for the Southwestern boys were: Nathan Anderson, 200 free, 2:23.01 and 100 back, 1:17.60; Mitchel Swafford, 200 IM, 2:34.40 and 100 fly, 1:04.90; Dylan Truesdell, 50 free, 27.41 and 100 free, 1:05.71; Zachary Hamilton, 500 free, 6:48.01; Travis Higham, 100 breast, 1:28.11; Anderson, Hamilton, Swafford and Higham, 200 medley relay, 2:06.65; Higham, Ryan Furnish, Truesdell and Jacob Grayson, 200 free relay, 1:59.58; and Swafford, Grayson, Truesdell and Anderson, 400 free relay, 4:31.06.

Shawe's Liz Grote won both of her events to remain unbeaten this season. The senior won the 50-yard freestyle in 28.16 and the 100-yard freestyle in 1:00.89.

Southwestern returns to action today at the Seymour Invitational.
