Rebs come up short at CAI

Southwestern played its best offensive game in two weeks but still came up short in a 67-56 loss at Christian Academy of Indiana on Saturday in New Albany.
The Rebels fell behind 19-11 after the first quarter and 34-20 at halftime. Southwestern stayed close throughout the second half but fell 11 points short.
Darius Whitson-Spegal scored a career-high 27 points to lead Southwestern. Aaron Hayes had 28 points and 10 rebounds to lead Christian.
Southwestern, now 5-14 on the season, hosts Trinity Lutheran on Tuesday.
