Southwestern's girls tennis team won the Paoli Invitational on Saturday.

The Lady Rebels' Sarah Anderson (No. 2 singles), Cheyenne McKinley at (No. 3 singles) and Jordan Worcester and Kearstin Bruther (No. 1 doubles) all went a perfect 2-0 on the day.

Abbey Garrett went 1-1 at No. 1 singles and Alex Drossart and Meredith Webber (No. 2 doubles) were 0-2.

"I was overwhelmed how well we played today and so proud of each player. To have had so much improvement from the first day of practice to now shows how hard the girls are all working and excited about this season," Southwestern coach Kenny Garrett said. "We just can't let up with huge matches this week."

The Rebels visit Shawe Tuesday and host Austin on Wednesday before closing the week Friday with Jennings County.
