Southwestern won every match but one and picked up a dual meet victory over Switzerland County, 42-30 in wrestling action at home on Tuesday.
All wins for the Rebels cam via pin. Picking up victories were Cody Holman, Jordan Hatton, Alex Marion, Austin Spray, Josh Matteson, Zach Abbott and Noah Schuster.
"The guys came ready to wrestle tonight," Southwestern coach Brandon Brawner said. "Some of the matches we won easily but what's exciting is when we win the close matches. Alex Marion, Zach Abbott and Noah Schuster all battled back from early deficits to record their pins. Hopefully we can ride this wave into conference this coming weekend."
Southwestern hosts the Southern Indiana Wrestling Conference Tournament this weekend with wrestling starting at 8 a.m. at Delbert O. King Gymnasium.
