Southwestern's wrestlers put together a nice showing at the Providence 6-Way on Saturday.

Austin Spray and Zach Abbott both went 4-1 on the day while both Cody Holman and Jordan Hatton also had strong weekends.

One of the highlights for the day was when Spray beat New Washington's Brady Mimmach 8-5 at 138 pounds. Spray had lost to Mimmach 17-4 earlier in the season.

"Austin is very focused and wrestling well at the right time of the season," Southwestern coach Brandon Brawner said. "The entire coaching staff is very pleased with the wrestlers and effort they put forth the entire day. Hopefully they will keep this momentum up the rest of the season and through tournament time."

Southwestern hosts Switzerland County on Tuesday.
