Switzerland County girls basketball dominated Ohio River Valley Conference and Class 2A Sectional 45 opponent South Ripley 46-22 in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday in Versailles.
The Pacers led the Raiders 11-4 after the first quarter and, despite a 10-minute drought without a field goal, managed to increase their lead to 11 at halftime at 17-6.
Switzerland came out of its slumber in the second half as the Pacers scored 13 points in the third quarter to lead 30-14 then capped the night off on a 16-8 run for the 46-22 final margin.
Switzerland County's Eve Galbreath posted a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Brooke Todd joined her in double figures with 11 points. The Pacers also collected 13 steals on the night with Hailee Lay and Todd with three each.
Switzerland County (4-4) travels to North Decatur on Saturday in a much anticipated matchup. The contest will be the first between the Pacers and Chargers since North Decatur edged Switzerland County 35-34 in last year's sectional tournament opener.
