Trimble County finished third and Carroll County was fifth in the North Central Kentucky Conference girls golf championships Monday at Fairway Golf Course in Wheatley.

The Lady Raiders shot a 411, 31 strokes back of conference champ Owen County's 380. Henry County was second at 382, Williamstown was fourth at 415, Carroll County was fifth at 435 and Walton-Verona was sixth at 462. Gallatin County did not field a complete team.

Trimble County's Kate Staples and Brook Huff as well as Carroll County's Hannah McMahan all finished in the top 12 and earned All-NCKC honors.

McMahan was fifth overall with a 91. Staples tied for eighth overall with a 96 and Huff was 12th with a 99.

Megan Turner was third on Trimble after Staples and Huff with a 104, Sidney Gossom had a 112 and Hayley Baker had a 122.

Natalie Bennett followed McMahan with a 108 for Carroll. Jadyn Bailey and Ciara Hamilton each shot 118.

Henry County's Mackenzie Peyton shot a 73 as the top individual. Owen County's Shelby Power was second with a 74 and Walton-Verona's Adriane Mason was third at 78.

Other members of the All-NCKC team were: Henry County's Maddie Hensley (84); Williamstown's Hannah Scroggins (92); Williamstown's Carly Middleton (95); Williamstown's Sarah Hicks (96); Owen County's Lydia Merrifield (97); and Owen County's Debbie Farrar (97).

Carroll County hosts Owen County and Walton-Verona today at Fairway. Trimble's next meet will be the KHSAA Regional at Eagle Creek Country Club in Dry Ridge on Monday.
