Trimble County pulled away early and rolled on to a 53-35 boys basketball win at Louisville Brown on Saturday.

The Raiders led 17-3 after the first quarter and 26-11 at halftime before cruising to their 14th win of the season.

Dusty Wyssbrod scored 21 points to lead Trimble - much of that on fast breaks and free throws - as Trimble played its first game without the services of leading scorer Evan Long, who separated his shoulder earlier in the week.

Freshman Michael Dunaway had a double-double of 11 points and 12 rebounds for the Raiders and Rob Brooks scored six and dismantled the Brown press from his guard position.

Will Brown led Brown High School with 10 points.

Trimble, now 14-9 on the season, visits Henry County as part of a boys-girls varsity doubleheader on Tuesday.
