Trimble County jumped out to a 21-4 lead after the first quarter and never looked back en route to a 66-32 girls basketball win at Louisville Brown on Saturday.

The Raiders, who broke a two-game losing streak with the win, had four players reach double-figures in scoring, led by junior Paige Black with 26. Erin Gonterman had 12 points and Chloe Griffith and Jessie Dunlap scored 10 each.

"We played well. It was nice to get the win after the two losses earlier in the week. It gives us a little of our confidence back," Trimble coach Kerrie Stewart said. "Erin Gonterman and Jessie Dunlap both played very well and Chloe Griffith had 16 rebounds and a very good game."

Trimble, now 12-11 on the season, visits Henry County on Tuesday and hosts John Hardin on Friday before opening the 29th District tournament next week.
